Tiger Girls place third at State Golf

Tiger Girls competed in the 2nd round of the GHSA AA state golf tournament today.   Our Tiger girls were trailing St. Vincent and Bleckley Co heading into the 2nd round. Boys and Girls Compete in Area Golf Tourney

The Tiger Boys and Girls golf team traveled to Valdosta to compete in the Area 1AA Region Tournament.  The Area tournament is played between Regions 1AA and 2AA to decide who moves on to compete in the GHSA State tournament. Golf Gains Late Season Momentum

The Boys and Girls participated in the Statesboro Blue Devil Invitational this past Saturday.  The event was held at the GSU golf course and there were 11 boys teams and 12 girls teams participating. Our Boys placed 2nd behind Pierce Co with a total score of 327.  This is our first runner-up finish of the season

Tiger Golf Places 4th in Savannah

The Tiger Boys Golf team traveled to Savannah Golf Club on Monday March 26th to participate in the Benedictine Adidas Golf Tournament.  There were 12 teams competing for the top 2 places and 60 golfers competing for the Low Medalist honors. Saturday March 17th, we hosted our Tiger Invitational at Willow Lake.  We had 20 teams with 96 golfers playing in the field. Golf wins Taylormade Invitational at Waynesboro

Our Boys/Girls traveled to Waynesboro to compete in the Burke Co Taylormade Inviational on Saturday March 10th.   The Girls Team won their 1st Invitational with a total score of 264!!!!!!  Kristin Crooms was Low-Medalist with a score of 77.  Low Medalist is the lowest individual score of all participants in the tournament.  Kristin would win

MHS Golf Competes at Jekyll Island Tournament

The Boys traveled to Jekyll Island to participate in the Johnny Paulk Invitational.  One of the largest GHSA sanctioned Invitationals in the State.  The tournament consisted of 18 holes of play on Saturday March 3rd.  There were 30 teams entered in the tournament with 150 boys competing.   Ian Glanton shot an even par score of

Pittman Low Medalist At Sectional Meeet

 Joseph Pittman was awarded low medalist at the Class AA Area sectionals last week.  He shot a 74 on the course in Valdosta.  Both teams qualified to compete at the state tournament on the 22nd-23rd in Waynesboro/Keysville.  Congratulations and Good Luck at State Tournament.  GO TIGERS!!

Boys/Girls Golf Qualify For State Tournament

MHS Boys and Girls Golf teams will be competing in the ClassAA state golf tournament May 22,23 in Waynesboro/Keysville.  Both teams qualified in the Area Sectionals held last week in Valdosta.
