Ring Ceremony for State Golf Champs

The MHS Boys and Girls Golf Teams will be honored Sept 10th at Willow Lake CC.  The Boys will be presented with their State Championship rings and the girls will receive their patches for the Area Championship.  The banquet will begin at 6:30.   We are very proud of both teams and their accomplishments.  GO TIGERS!!!

Boys Golf State Champs

MHS Boys Golf Team won the AA Golf State Championship yesterday at Oak Hills Country Club in Carrollton.  Ian Glanton was the individual low medalist for the tournament posting scores of 70 and 71 in the two day tournament.  The boys team won their second state championship in a row. Boys/Girls win Area Golf

MHS Boys Golf shot a combined total of 302 yesterday to claim the 1AA Area Title.  The Girls shot a combined score of 170 to take the 1AA Area Championship on the girls side.  Kristen Crooms earned individual low medalist honors for the girls tournament with score of 79.  Both teams will advance to the

Golf First at Tiger Invitational

MHS Boys and Girls Golf Teams won the Tiger Invitional Golf Tournament at Willow Lake CC last Saturday.  Kristen Crooms shot a 74 to lead the Girls.  Grayson Bowen was low medalist for the boys with a 74.  Congratulations to both teams and GO TIGERS!!

Golf Opens Season at Johnny Paulk

Girls and Boys Golf teams will be in action this weekend at the Johnny Paulk and Red Ryder Tournaments in Jekyl Island Ga.  Good Luck and GO TIGERS!!!

Tiger Girls place third at State Golf

Tiger Girls competed in the 2nd round of the GHSA AA state golf tournament today.   Our Tiger girls were trailing St. Vincent and Bleckley Co heading into the 2nd round. Farm Bureau Honors Golf Teams

Boys and Girls Compete in Area Golf Tourney

The Tiger Boys and Girls golf team traveled to Valdosta to compete in the Area 1AA Region Tournament.  The Area tournament is played between Regions 1AA and 2AA to decide who moves on to compete in the GHSA State tournament. The tournament was represented by 14 high school teams.  Valdosta Country club hosted the tournament

Golf Gains Late Season Momentum

The Boys and Girls participated in the Statesboro Blue Devil Invitational this past Saturday.  The event was held at the GSU golf course and there were 11 boys teams and 12 girls teams participating. Our Boys placed 2nd behind Pierce Co with a total score of 327.  This is our first runner-up finish of the season

Tiger Golf Places 4th in Savannah

The Tiger Boys Golf team traveled to Savannah Golf Club on Monday March 26th to participate in the Benedictine Adidas Golf Tournament.  There were 12 teams competing for the top 2 places and 60 golfers competing for the Low Medalist honors.
