State AA Golf Champ Ian Glanton

Ian Glanton received his state championship ring for low medalist at the State AA tournament.  Ian was part of the 2019 state champion team and also the Individual State Champ for AA.  Presenting his State Championship ring is MHS Golf Coach William Altman.  Congratulations and GO TIGERS!!!

Tigers Finish Second at Oak Mountain

The Tiger Golf team traveled to Carrollton,Ga to compete in the 15th Annual Lions Invitational at Oak Mountain Championship golf course over the Spring break.  Oak Mountain is where the AA State tournament will be held this year.  Playing in the Lions tournament would give the Tigers a chance to get some experience on this

Boys Golf 2nd at Wildcat Invitational

MHS Boys Golf Team placed 2nd at the Wildcat Invitational Tournament in Richmond Hill Saturday.  Will Altman shot a 75 to win Low medalist honors for the tournament.   Congratulations and GO TIGERS!!

Golf – Ring Ceremony

The MHS Boys Golf Team were presented their state championship rings Thursday night at Willow Lake CC.  The Boys were 2018 AA state champs.  The Girls team were also honored for their Area Championship. Congratulations and GO TIGERS!!!

Tiger Boys AA STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!

Farm Bureau Honors Golf Teams

Boys and Girls Compete in Area Golf Tourney

The Tiger Boys and Girls golf team traveled to Valdosta to compete in the Area 1AA Region Tournament.  The Area tournament is played between Regions 1AA and 2AA to decide who moves on to compete in the GHSA State tournament. The tournament was represented by 14 high school teams.  Valdosta Country club hosted the tournament

Golf Gains Late Season Momentum

The Boys and Girls participated in the Statesboro Blue Devil Invitational this past Saturday.  The event was held at the GSU golf course and there were 11 boys teams and 12 girls teams participating. Our Boys placed 2nd behind Pierce Co with a total score of 327.  This is our first runner-up finish of the season
